Apps get pulled from a country's store to comply with local law or sanctions, but they stay available elsewhere. A free second account set to the US restores access — without changing anything on your current account.

Create a free Apple ID

Free, no card. Your main account stays untouched.
1Sign out of the App Store — never in Settings
App Store → your photo → Sign Out. Do not sign out in Settings → your name — that changes all of iCloud and can disturb your photos, contacts and backups.
2Tap Get on a free app, then "Create New Apple ID"
Pick any free app you don't already have (e.g. Microsoft Word or Google Maps) and tap Get → Create New Apple ID. Starting a download this way is what reveals the "None" payment option.
3Make a free iCloud email
At the email step tap Don't have an email address? → Apple creates a free @icloud.com. No separate signup, and it works where Gmail or other mail can be blocked.
4Set the region to United States
5Verify with a phone number
Apple texts a code. If your number is rejected (it's already on your main Apple ID), use a different number just for this one-time step — a friend's or family member's works.
6Payment method → None
Choose None — no card is ever needed for free apps.
7Enter a US address
Generate one at fakexy.com (United States → Oregon) or use this sample:

"Invalid character in the name field"? First and last name must use Latin letters. If your account name uses another alphabet, change it: App Store → your photo → profile name → "Name", then retry.
"Enter 7 digits" for the phone? The area code (503) goes in its own field; the phone field takes exactly 7 digits with no country or area code: 5550142.

Install & switch back
1Check the App Store shows your new account

In the App Store, sign out of the new account and back into your usual one. The app stays installed and keeps working. To update it later, switch to the new account in the App Store again — only ever in the App Store, never in Settings.
Questions
?My phone number is rejected / "already in use"
This happens when the number is already tied to another Apple ID. Use a different number just for the one-time verification (a friend's or family member's), or switch networks and retry. You only need it once.
?There's no "None" payment option
Make sure you started by tapping Get on a free app and then "Create New Apple ID" — that's the route that shows None. Signing up through Settings often forces a card instead.
+Alternative: change your existing account's region
Prefer to keep a single account? You can change its region instead — but only if you're willing to clear it first:
- Balance must be zero (even a tiny amount blocks it).
- Cancel active subscriptions, including iCloud+ and Apple Music.
- App Store → your photo → name → Country/Region → Change → United States → payment None → address from fakexy.com.
